Hotel NAP

Hotel Nap has several recently renovated hotel rooms with bath or shower, coffee and tea facilities, LED TV and refrigerator and two spacious apartments for 4 to 6 people.


There is a cozy lounge with a reading table and a fireplace, breakfast room, completely renovated terrace on Brandarisplein and an excellent restaurant.


Hotel Nap also has a meeting room for meetings of up to 20 people.


The hotel (1 floor) has no elevator, but we do have five rooms on the ground floor. Next to the hotel (4m. but with its own entrance) you will find our dependance.

Our seasonal menus offer a wide selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. Head Chef Daan de Jong continues to surprise our guests with beautiful creations, prepared with local ingredients whenever possible.

From oysters harvested from the Wadden Sea and beef from cattle raised on the island’s Boschplaat, to hand-picked edible flowers and porcini mushrooms – every dish brings you a taste of Terschelling.

    You can check-in with us from 2 PM onwards. If you arrive earlier on Terschelling and your room is ready, you are welcome to check-in immediately. Our check-out time is 11 AM.

    Dear Guest,


    A very warm welcome to you and your four-legged friend at Hotel NAP. The charge for bringing your dog is €16.50 per night.


    To make your stay, and that of our other guests, as pleasant as possible, we have put together a few tips for enjoying the island with your dog, as well as some house rules.


    Tips for you and your dog on Terschelling


    Dogs are allowed off the lead on many parts of the beach and in the forest. Please note that this is only permitted if your dog is under full control and responds reliably to your commands.


    Your dog is welcome throughout our hotel. This means your four-legged friend can join you for dinner in our restaurant and is also welcome in the breakfast room. We kindly ask you not to take your dog near the breakfast buffet and to make sure your dog lies quietly underneath your table or chair, without blocking the aisles.


    If required, you can rent a dog crate via benchverhuur.nl.


    Dogs are welcome in many restaurants, cafés and other hospitality venues on Terschelling. When making a reservation, we recommend mentioning that you will be bringing a dog, so they can arrange the most suitable table for you and your four-legged friend.


    Hotel NAP House Rules


    A maximum of one dog is permitted per hotel room, regardless of the size of the dog.


    Your dog:


    is not allowed on chairs, sofas or on your lap, even when using your own blanket or jacket underneath;

    may join you for breakfast, but is not allowed near the breakfast buffet;

    must lie underneath your chair or table so that the aisles remain clear;

    must be kept on a lead at all times in the hotel, restaurant and on the terrace. Naturally, this does not apply inside your own hotel room;

    must not be left alone in your room for extended periods. If your dog starts barking, you must be contactable and return to your room immediately;

    is not allowed on the hotel beds or chairs.


    Finally, we kindly ask you to be considerate of your fellow guests, as not everyone is comfortable around dogs.

  • Cots

    We have cots available for your baby. Please state your child's age when making the reservation so that we can reserve the right cot with the correct costs for you.

  • Bicycle storage

    You can park your bicycle in our bicycle shed behind the hotel.

  • Breakfast vouchers

    When you leave with the first boat at 07:00, you will receive breakfast vouchers that you can hand in on board. You will then be served a delicious breakfast on the ferry.

  • Cancellation Policy

    In the low season, cancellation and/or changes are possible free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. In high season this is possible free of charge 7 days before arrival. We will charge the total reservation value within the set time. Conditions apply per event during events, please inquire at the hotel.
